Have you always wanted to take a self-defense class, but didn't want to do it alone?
In honor of National Mental Health Awareness Month, join UWIB for a Women's Self-Awareness Class with one of the longest-running self-defense classes in NYC.
The class will focus on core self-defense principles as well as ways to protect yourself with proper punching, kicking techniques, and FAQs. While the class will not be private, a group of us will be there together to support one another. You'll walk away with knowledge and empowerment to safeguard yourself - as well as a new group of friends!
This class is priced as a suggested one-time $25 donation to the school and for a t-shirt to wear to class.
