In celebration of Black History Month, we are hosting Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Black Heritage. This virtual event embodies the essence of Black History Month by highlighting the rich tapestry of black culture, breaking barriers & ceilings, history, and achievements while emphasizing the unity found within diversity. UWIB would like to honor the contributions of African American individuals, specifically women at this event, acknowledge their struggles, and celebrate their resilience.
Through this event, we aim to foster understanding, appreciation, and solidarity among all attendees, regardless of their background, in commemorating and championing black heritage.
In celebration and promotion, we will be raffling out blacked-owned margarita kits for those who attend.
